Some light staining to top of spine and some wrinkling of cloth to rear cover. Endpapers lightly browned and light foxing to outer page edges. Dustwrapper is worn to top edges, slightly rubbed to lower edges and foxed on verso.

George Newnes Limited. 1944. Almost very good condition in an almost very good dustwrapper. Red cloth, black titles to front and spine. Delightful b/w text illustrations of the cheeky golliwogs. 152 pages. Spine and corners slightly bumped and worn. Lower edges of covers also a little worn. A couple of brown spots to rear cover and a few brown spots to front cover. Inscription in ink to half-title page. Booksellers blind stamp to rear endpaper. Contents are lovely and clean. Original dustwrapper is edge worn with some very slight loss, lower edge of front panel looks as though it may have been nibbled in the past. Brown spots to front panel, spine and rear panel. Tiny tear to centre of spine. Rear panel is a little grubby. Overall a nice copy of the first reprint (December 1944), in very scarce dustwrapper.

Light foxing to half-title page, rear endpapers and outer page edges. Pictorial wrapper is price-cut and edge-creased and torn, with repair to verso with sticky tape. Grubby marks to rear panel of wrapper. Overall still a very good copy - still scarce in dustwrapper - even though a reprint.

Red and white pictorial endpapers. 288 pages. Light bumping to top and tail of spine. A little fading to spine and a couple of cover edges. Inscription in ink to verso of front endpaper. A couple of very small surface paper patches of lifting to half-title page. Foxing to outer page edges. Contents are bright. Pictorial wrapper is edge-chipped, with a few small tears, but minimal loss. Some light creasing.

Page edges are browned, with the odd foxspot. Wrapper is edge-chipped with surface paper damage, mainly to top of spine.

Birn Brothers Ltd. 1st. 1936. Very good condition. Although not named as an author, Enid Blyton contributed four stories: A Hoop Race; Podge The Puppy; Bobtail The Bunny; My Dolly. Large format. Green cloth spine, colour pictorial boards showing boy and girl holding pet rabbit. 4 colour plates. B/w illustrations. First story is Tim A Lazy Bunny. Spine edges rubbed. Corners worn. A couple of small marks to covers which are otherwise bright and clean. Pages browned. Inscription in ink to front pastedown. Light foxing to margins of plates. Overall a nice copy of an early and scarce Blyton book.
