Nearly fine condition in a very good dustwrapper. Yellow cloth, red titles and vignette. Pink pictorial endpapers. B/w illustrations.
Spine cocked, very small dent to lower edge of rear cover. Covers exceptionally bright and clean. Minor foxing to edge of textblock. Contents fine. Wrapper is nicked at corners with very slight loss, a closed tear at lower corner of front panel and a small patch of surface paper loss from rear panel and a couple of scrapes to the front which are hardly noticeable. Overall a beautiful bright copy of this popular book.

- Darrell's young sister, Felicity, is in the first form this term, and Darrell is looking forward very much to showing off her beloved Malory Towers to her young sister, but Felicity befriends June, a person who Darrell isn't very keen on. But that doesn't take away the excitement Darrell has when she learns she is made head girl of the Upper Fourth. But being head girl isn't quite as exciting as Darrell hoped it would be, and soon begins to lose her temper.
