A few small marks to covers. Contents are excellent. Pictorial wrapper is lightly edge-worn with a couple of tiny chips to corners. Nice and bright! [S]

Macmillan & Co. Ltd.. 1st. 1948. Very good condition in a good dustwrapper. Another exciting story in the 'Adventure' series. Cream pictorial cloth. B/w illustrations. 321 pages. 8 x 5". Spine bumped and just a little browned. Some slight discolouration to cover edges. Joints have started to crack. Foxing to endpapers. Contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn with some loss and tape repairs on verso, a few light creases and a couple of small stains. [R]

Enid Blyton

Enid Mary Blyton born August 11 1897 and died November 28 1968, was probably the twentieth century's most successful writer of children's books. A phenomenally prolific author, she wrote an estimated 800 books during a literary career that spanned more than forty years.
