Macmillan & Co Ltd. 1st. 1944. Nearly fine condition in a very good dustwrapper. Cream pictorial cloth. The first book in the "Adventure" series. 327 pages. B/w illustrations. 1st edition, in 1st issue dustwrapper (7/6 with 'd' - slightly shorter that '6'). Very light bumping to spine and corners. Contents are really excellent! Pictorial wrapper has 1" closed tear to spine at top of rear panel. 0.5" split to same line on dustwrapper at base. Very light chipping along top and tail of spine of wrapper. Wrapper is still lovely and bright. A fantastic copy of the 1st edition!

Sampson Low. 1st ed . 1953. Almost very good condition. Five small format paperwrap books contained in pictorial box. Book covers a little grubby, pages lightly browned. Book 2 has clear tape on spine. Box is rubbed at corner with a couple of small edge-tears. Lower small side flap is missing.

Enid Blyton

Enid Mary Blyton born August 11 1897 and died November 28 1968, was probably the twentieth century's most successful writer of children's books. A phenomenally prolific author, she wrote an estimated 800 books during a literary career that spanned more than forty years.
